What Do Vertigo, Ear Pain And Fluttering Sound In Ears Indicate?
Question: I would like to follow up on my previous question.
When I ready about my symptoms online, ( vertigo, fluttering sounds in my ear, and some ear pain) they often said things that freaked me out, like I may have ear cancer or a brain tumour.
I've been to the doctor several times and they have now referred me to a specialist, but my appointment isn't until April.I
My symptoms have now gone, but sometimes comeback after a long week or a night of drinking.
should I be concerned and try to see a specialist before April? or just wait?

Brief Answer:
Other causes to consider first...
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
You are reporting to have;:
- ear pain
- vertigo
- fluttering in the ear
These symptoms are not neccessary related to cancer.
They are common when you drink alot or:
- ear gets infected (otitis)
- Spondyloarthrosis
- or due to oscillations in blood pressure
Advise to :
- check your ears by ENT specialist
- monitor your blood pressure
- Try to avoid heavy drinking
For the moment, I do not see anything serious to check with specialist immediately.
All the best!
