Question: Hi Doctor,currently I am taking 100 MCG of thyronorm...since three months as my TSH levels were 0.115..I'm put on weight and now my tsh levels are 8.35....please suggest what dosage of thyronorm I should take now

I would like to ask you whether you are taking your medications regularly. If someone is taking medications uninterruptedly, TSH levels are unlikely to fluctuate this much.

Kindly ensure compliance. TSH level less than 0.3 and more than 8 are not appropriate.

Now you can increase your dose to 125 mcg tab daily. Recheck TSH after 2 months and review with us.

Ensure that you are taking it on empty stomach and are giving at least a gap of 1 hr before you eat or drink ...
