What Do White And Red Bumps In The Groin Area Suggest?
Question: I have had a couple white and red bumps near my private area, groin area for a couple months now. I was wondering if you could take a look at it and see what you think it could be. Ive done research and it says it could be "molluscum contagisium" im just trying to make sure it is not herpes, etc. thank you
Brief Answer:
Molluscum contagiosum

hello. thank you for writing to us
I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have reviewed the image.
i can see pearly white, dome shaped bumps on penile shaft. They are certainly molluscim contagiosum. Genital herpes usually presents with genital erosions/sores rather than raised bumps.
