What Do White Marks On Face Of A Child Indicate?

Question: My 7 year daughter is having white marks on her face. 2 year back a tiny white spot was noticed by us but pediatrician said its a minor stuff and will fade away on its own. but now these marks ha not only grown in size but also have started to appear on diff part of face. There is no pain or itching in these white spots. we are really worried about these. please find attached images for your reference

Hi again,

I have seen the attached pictures.

Your daughter basically has Pityriasis XXXXXXX over the face.
It is a very common problem in young children but is completely harmless in nature.
As your child grows up, the problem will subside by itself.

For rapid improvement, you can apply cortisone cream over the white patches twice daily.
Apply plenty of moisturiser over face daily.
Give her diet rich in fresh fruits, salads with green leafy vegetables.
You need not worry since this condition is not vitiligo and will soon settle.
