Brief Answer:
Your CT report is suggestive of ILD (IPF).

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Your CT thorax without contrast is suggestive of ILD (Interstitial Lung Disease).
Lung is having main three components.
1. Parenchyma (alveoli)
2. Vessels
3. Interstitium ( Supporting structure to above components)
In certain lung diseases, only Interstitium is involved and it gets thickened and fibrosed.
These diseases are grouped in one heading known as Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD).
In ILD, Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) is most common.
It is having lower lobe predominance.
And your CT report is suggestive of early IPF.
I want to know few more things.
1. What are your symptoms?
2. Have you undergone PFT ( pulmonary function test )?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
No this is not cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for your follow up question on HCM.
Thanks for the spirometry result.
You are having restrictive lung defect.
It is seen with ILD ( interstitial lung disease).
And no need to worry for lung cancer.
It is not lung cancer for sure.
In your case, we need to rule out the type of ILD.
As treatment and prognosis is based on type of ILD.
So let me know
1. What symptoms you are having at present?
2. Are you smoker?
3. Have you undergone any blood reports?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health.
Thanks.
