I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have told you that such a small size (5.4*2.9) calcification in a Brain CT scan is not of any significance.
It may be a small old calcified granuloma,which has now calcified.This is not to be worried for and not to be treated,unless patient is having manifestations like seizures.Even if the patient is having seizures,only treatment is to give anti-seizure medications and calcification is to be left as such.
Bottom line,symptoms are to be treated and not the calcification.If the person is having no complaints,nothing to be done.
