Brief Answer:
Could be due to some infection
Detailed Answer:
hello
thank you for contacting HCM
I've gone through your query and would try to help you in best possible way. there is a possibility that lymph node was enlarged as a result of some infection. if only single node is enlarged with no obvious symptom then it could be non specific. incase of multiple enlarged nodes, ct guided biopsy can be done to find the exact cause of enlarged node.
prostate can be enlarged with increasing age. which results in increased PSA levels.
feel free to get back with a followup query.
thank you

It is multiple nodes that are enlarged in the upper abdomen/thorax. What other conditions
could be causing this besides an infection. Please list all conditions that can cause
enlaged lymph nodes in this area. Just want to know...........will get specific cause when
the oncologist follows up on this finding.
