Question: I am 3 months post CABG X 2 and there is T wave inversion in my EKG which was taken at my cardiac rehab exercise is that normal after cardiac bypass surgery
Brief Answer:
Your EKG may be normal...
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
T wave inversion in your EKG may be normal especially after CABG surgery and pericardial effusion.
If you were my patient I would recommend doing also:
- Cardiac ECHO (for pericardial effusion)
- Chest X ray
However to give a more exact opinion I would like to have basal EKG after surgery and at present. Can you upload the requested EKG?
I'm waiting for the requested EKG.

Look at the page 2 and 3 of this file these are the EKG tracings taken yesterday
ans as you can see in the keg tracings not only are there T wave changes but there are QRS changes as well
check the EKG tracing while cooling down after exercise where the HR is 91 i am attaching that as well as a screen shot

Brief Answer:
Change are indicative for pericarditis...
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
I have gone through your EKG reports, and they are stress test monitor EKG which aren't as accurate as standard EKG. ( This is why I asked about discharge EKG and present EKG to get them analyzed for final judgement).
Anyway, from what I have seen, all changes are indicative for pericarditis which is also very common after CABG. I advise to run the suggested tests to determine the right diagnosis.
All the best!
