Question: My TSH is 6 and Hb 9 what medicines i should take . My weight is increasing now .Currently i am 102 Kgs.

Dear XXXXXXX you are hypothyroid, and need replacement. you are presently 102 kg, definitely obese, you should start with 100 mcg of thyroxine. hypothyroidism is known to cause macrocytic anemia , so you need b12, and folic acid replacement along with iron and calcium. regards!

dear XXXXXXX first of all sorry that i did not see attached reports earlier. second, i could not locate your TSH report. kindly highlight it or tell me the pg no. rest remains same. your ESR is high. it is a non specific marker, but it tells you have some chronic infection or inflammation. did you have any chronic illness like TB sometime ? regards!

No i dnt had Tb but had taken medicines for astama. apologies that i dnt attached thyroid reports
my Free T3 us 2.45ng/ml
Free t4 is 1.22ug%
TSH is 5.97 uiu/ml

Dear XXXXXXX do start thyroxine, and rest same, every day calcium 1gm, b12 1500 mcg, folic acid 5 mg, and vitamin D 60000IU once a week. brands you can take as per your doctor. do a repeat test after 3 months and let me know. regards!
