What Does A BPD Measurement Of 34 Weeks And 6 Days Indicate?
Question: Hello doctor... i went for my 36th week ultrasound and the bpd measurement of baby is that of 34 weeks 6 days..almost 8 days behind.. all the other measurements are ahead...is this cause of any concern?

A variation of 8 days in the growth of the head of the baby in ninth month of pregnancy is not worrisome. This is a minor variation and the baby easily catches up with the growth after the delivery.

Thank you doctor... also there were two eif spots seen in both ventricles of heart in anamoly scan.. my triple test came low risk 1:100000...can the small head be associated as a marker for t21?
