Brief Answer:
Hs CRP level of 14.6 is a risk factor for ischemic heart disease
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
Hs CRP is done to assess the risk for cardiac diseases especially ischemic heart diseases.
A Hs CRP level of 14.6 mg/dL is very high and is a positive risk factor for ischemic heart disease.
However, I am not clear whether the CRP which is repeated is Hs CRP or just CRP.
Please clarify as it will be possible for me to help you better.
Thanks and take care

Brief Answer:
CRP level of 1.52 is within normal range
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
A CRP level of 1.52 mg/dL is within normal range.
CRP is raised in any kind of inflammation in the body.
CRP is non-specific and can be raised in number of conditions.
However, Hs CRP is more sensitive and is used to assess risk for ischemic heart disease.
However, it is strange to have high Hs CRP and a normal CRP.
Please check with your treating regrading time and reason for ordering and time of performing the tests.
Thanks and take care
