What Does A Beta HCG Level Of 0.20 MIU/ml Indicate?

Question: Hi doctor,
My cycle is irregular(approx 35 days). In past, i had missed 2-3 periods also. My question is -
My last period was on 8th Nov, 2016. We had unprotected sex on 29th Nov, 2016. In December, I had no periods. So I did 3 home pregnancy test on December 16, 24, 27 which were all negative. To confirm this, I did first HCG beta blood test on 24th January, that was also negative(<1.20 miu). so consulted with an obGyn on 25th January, who gave me deviry 10 mg for 5 days to start my period. Then just to reconfirm, I did another HCG beta blood test on 1st January 2017, my level is 0.20 miu, which was also negative. I started withdrawal bleeding on 5th January, and it continues bleeding till 9th January, 2017. So is there any chances of pregnancy in my case??

Brief Answer:
No chance of pregnancy according to your history
Detailed Answer:
Hi
GREETINGS
SINCE your beta hcg was within normal limits there is no chance of pregnancy. you also had a withdrawal bleed with progesterone,so nothing to worry.
Now get a hormonal analysis and an ultrasound scan to rule out PCOD or other causes of prolonged periods.
Hope my answer helps you.
