About a month or so
Brief Answer:
I suggest a dermoscopy.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It could be just a hematoma which can sometimes easily happen due to minor unnoticed trauma or strenuous activity. However, I suggest you get a dermoscopy examination so as to be sure. At this point, only dermoscopy would reliably distinguish between a hematoma and a melanoma. Another option is a biopsy but that is an invasive procedure A hematoma usually drifts distally with time but it may be very slow and sometimes may take 2-3 months to appreciate only a slight drift.
Hope I have answered your query.
