Brief Answer:
Consideration

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

Is possible that this might be a hemorrhoid. Other considerations include a possible Fisher. Fishers can become quite irritated and painful.

it would be rare that your pain is associated with cancer but I completely understand why you are worried. I think it is very important that you have a good physical examination by her primary care physician. Your doctor can perform a good exam and help to really determine the exact cause of your discomfort. If the doctors not able to exactly pinpoint the cause he might refer you to a gastroenterologist.

The fact that you are seeing pus tends to make infection more likely. If this is the case your doctor might need to give you an antibiotic to help improve your symptoms. Also it might be helpful for you to take some warm baths a couple of times per day to help soothe the affected area.
