Question: I have an explicable bruise approx. 2 inches below my breast with a lump but no other symptoms

If this is single bruise and there is no redress around it,you should not be worried. This was probably just unnoticed hit or broken vein.In this case,it should pull back in next 7-10 days. If there are other lesions on body or there is pain and redness,you should see doctor,do ultrasound and check your coagulation tests. Wish you good health. regards

yes, if this lump is under the bruise then this is subcutaneous hematom which becomes firm after one day and then this is called fibroma. if there will be complications that I ve mentioned them it can be surgically removed under local anesthesia.
