Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us.
A collar bone lump could be a lipoma, enlarged lymph node, lymphatic malformation, bone cyst, poorly healed clavicle fracture( that might have occurred during your birth). Any lump due to unknown cause should be ruled out as certain malignancies too can present as swelling.
In simpler words, all these causes are surgical. You need a proper face to face consultation, clinical examination and appropriate investigation to look for the probable cause. I would advise that you consult a surgeon in your area as early as possible.
Hope this helped.
Take care

Brief Answer:
yes it is

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back.
As long as we are not sure what that lump is, we should be worried about it.
Please meet a doctor nearby. Once the diagnosis is made and the lesion is confirmed as harmless and benign, you may leave it as such.
Take care
