What Does A Dent On Penis Indicate?

About 7 months ago I noticed a dent in my penis, middle part quite close to my stomach. I have gone through quite much stress the last couple of years with a disc herniation in my back and in the months prior to noticing the dent, more frequent episodes of nighttime erections (probably due to stress). I would usually sleep on my back, then wake up with pain because the penis wanted to erect, but was held down my the duvet covers. This happened on a few occasions, and I believe it is the cause of the dent in my penis. I have since changed my sleeping position.
It is not painful, unless I keep pressing on it, but the incident has also changed the angle of my erections more upwards towards my belly. This is especially apparent when I lie on my backside where it points towards my face, impossible to move upwards. I can however use a finger to press in between the penis and testicles to hold it more straight, as shown on one of the pictures attached. I haven't tried sexual intercourse, because I think it could be difficult now.
I saw a urologist several months ago and told him about this. He didn't think it was Peyronie's, because of how the dent had occured, and its location also being not as high up. he called it a mechanical injury. He told me to massage the area, which I believe he meant the area of the penis which is inside the body, but I am not sure. He told me to do this when the penis is semi erect.
I basically would like a second opinion and also more questions answered.
Is it right not to necessarily always think Peyronie's whenever there is a dent? Should I worry about the dent becoming worse?
Could you explain more about the massaging , how much force to use, its exact location and success rate? I haven't tried it much yet in fear of doing it wrong.
Any other advice?
Many thanks in advance.
It is mild form of Peyronies Disease.

Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the photographs and facts that you have posted it appears that you have dent in shaft of your penis with slight curvature of penis on erection.
I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem
1) Can you palpate hard mass (Plaque) at the site of dent?
2) Do you have any difficulty in penetration of Vagina during sexual intercourse with your female partner?
This is a mild form of Peyronies Disease, an connective tissue disorder of Tunica Albuginea an envelop that covers erectile tissue (Corpora Cavernosa)..
.
The aetiology of this disease is still not known but it results from scarring of the Tunica Albuginea due to unnoticed minor injuries to penis.causing mild curvature of penis (Dent ) at the site of scarring.
In majority of cases this gets resolved over a period of 2 years and no treatment is required .
Normally treatment is advised if the curvature of the erected penis is severe and hinders to penetrate vagina during sexual intercourse.
Please refrain from doing any massage to the penis as it is likely to cause more minor injury to the penis and may aggravate the problem.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,
I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

I have no feeling of any plaque at the dented area. The urologist did ultra sound and found no scar tissue on the erectile tissue.
I haven't tried sexual intercourse, because the upward angle as you can see in one of the pictures makes it seem difficult.
From what I understand, the angle of an erect penis should point 90 degrees out from the body, but mine points more upwards lately after this injury.
So this is what I wanted to ask about regarding the massaging, if I can massage in the area near the pubic bone, inside the body? How else can I rectify the angle? I don't really mind the dent, as long as it doesn't become worse.
I wouldn't do any massaging on the dented area of the penis.
Massagig will not help at all.

Hello
Thanks for follow up.
You have not clarified whether you have difficulty in penetrating vagina while having intercourse.
As per photograph that you have loaded it is minor bent and should not pose any problem in performing sex.
It is very difficult to predict about progress of the disease .It may get resolved itself or may increase over a period of time .
Thanks and Regards.

It would be impossible to have sex lying on my back, and I estimate it to be 80% likely to fail in normal position too.
I also don't feel the penis is bent much, it just has a dent and possible a minor curvature bending in that area.
The main issue now is the angle of degree it points out from the body. This problem does not seem to start at the point of the dent, but rather somewhere inside the body which is not visible, hence the question about massaging.
One thing I would mention in this relation, which might be useful for you to know: About 6 months prior to the dent I pulled my foreskin outwards/forwards (probably too hard) and heard a cracking/crunchy sound (scar tissue?) from somewhere near the pubic bone, but it settled itself with no particular pain, though maybe I have a weakness in that area.
Regards,
There should be no problem in performning sex.

Hello
Thanks for follow up.
With this minute curvature you should not have problem in performing the sex at all.
I have observed patients with bending of 30 degree angular penis have normal sex .It is your anxiety that is bothering you and will not go away unless you try to have a sex.
As regards the reason for dent ,it is not going to make any difference a this stage as for as prognosis of present problem is concerned. You can get ultrasound scanning of the penis done to rule out any serious lesion .This will help to allay your anxiety.
Thanks and Regards.

I would like to be able to move the penis forwards, but it is stuck in this new angle, which does not start from the dent, but somewhere further inside.
If you still think this is an anxiety matter, I will respect your answer. There is only so much one can show through photos.
Problem can be rectified on examinaton
