Brief Answer:
Please, provide WBC count and WBC differential....

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

The result can be normal, but WBC count and WBC differential are needed to give proper answer.
White blood cells (WBC) consist of granulocytes, monocytes and lymphocytes. Granulocytes have specific granules inside the cell and they are divided into eosinophils, basophils and neutrophils. The granules contains enzymes which functions to kill microbes or responsible for allergic reactions. Lymphocytes and monocytes are involved in immune regulation in the body.

In order to answer your question we need WBC count and WBC differential. Normal WBC count is 4000 to 11,000 /microliter. WBC differential consist of percentages of eosinophils, basophils, neutrophils, lymphocytes and monocytes.

In case your WBC count is normal, your test result show normal granulocyte percentage (normal range 40 to 80%) and low lymphocyte percentage (normal 20 to 40%). Most often causes of low lymphocytes are viral infections, autoimmune disorders and certain medications.
But in order to give detailed answer WBC count and WBC differential is needed.

Please, provide WBC count and WBC differential so that I can answer your query properly. Also, feel free to ask me if there is anything else you need to know.
Thank you
