What Does A Lump At Back Left Side Of Throat Indicate?
Most likely it is an infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms. I would like to reassure you that these symptoms are not suggestive of cancer, as the swelling has not grown in size during the past several months. A cancer rapidly grows in size.
The more common reason for this lump could be an infection. If you have not already taken, you should take a course of antibiotics.
Finally, if you really want to confirm the diagnosis, an FNAC (needle aspiration) or a biopsy can be taken from the lump.
I hope my reply has helped you.
I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
Best wishes,

First step would be lymph node biopsy.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back and providing more information.
As of now, you can go for lymph node biopsy of one of the neck nodes. Depending on the finding, it can be decided to remove all of them plus the lump in the throat.
Removing them should be easy for a surgeon.
