What Does A Lump In The Scrotum Indicate?

Question: I am 58 years old and notice a small pea sized lump inside scrotum and I am scared

i just had complete bloodwork and all was normal

Well, blood work is normal is a good thing to know but does not much correlate with the lump in scrotal skin or inside scrotum.
Please give additional information for me to assist you better:
Since when is the lump present?
Is the lump in the skin of scrotum - moves with scrotal skin?
Any pain or tenderness?
Any skin changes?
Or whether this is inside the scrotum: the skin moving over the lump freely?
if yes, whether the lump is attached t the epididymis or the testes?
Please give any other additional information.

It is a circular pea sized cyst which is inside and attached to epidymisi

I did some research and I think it is a epididymal cyst which also said it is very common and usually not canceroua

Please get this confirmed by High resolution ultrasonography (HRUSG) and color doppler examination so that further opinion of a Urologist can tell us whether to have some active management or have the policy of wait and watch.
