What Does A Lump On Collar Bone Indicate?
To find out what it is ....
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate self explanatory history.
The cause of the small painless movable lump just above the collar bone found incidentally indicate that this may be a lymph node or a sebaceous cyst or something else too.
Wisdom teeth do not cause such distant lumps.
There are many lymph nodes in the neck area and a small infection here and there can cause some glands to get enlarged and either resolve on their own or may stay for a long as a reactionary hyperplasia.
If this is a painless lump, incidentally noticed, at the age of 31 in a female patient, I do not think this as a cause of big concern unless the reports indicate so.
I would advise in such a patient the following:
Physical examination by a Surgeon to have a clinical judgement.
Ultrasonography and FNAC to confirm what it is.
If nothing specific is found, nothing to worry.
If a specific cause is found, get treated accordingly.
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask relevant questions if you need further clarifications.
reactionary means no specific cause found.

Hi.
Thanks for your appreciation.
Inflamed tendon is not movable at all hence ruled out.
The cause of the enlarged lymph node can not always be found, even a small trivial trauma in there area of its drainage can cause it to get infected and enlarged.
Reactionary hyperplasia is the name given to the enlarged lymph node where a ''specific'' cause can not be found like tuberculosis, cancer or so.
