Brief Answer:
soft swelling unlikely to be lymphoma
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
A small, soft, movable armpit swelling is unlikely to be a lymphoma. Lymphoma nodes are more often rubbery in consistency.
Are there are any other features, like fever, weight loss, night sweats or any other swelling?
If all of these are negative, then we can keep it under watch for some time. If it increases, then fine needle aspiration or biopsy may be required. Her doc may also give a course of antibiotics for the time being.
Hope this helps. I will be available for follow up.
