Brief Answer:
Most likely insect bite, please confirm with GP

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Since you have not been hit on the head then its most likely due to an insectbite. Some insectbites are unnoticeable in the beginning but in a few hours time it develops into a lump which remains sore. Please have it confirmed by your GP and take treatment for pain and anti allergy medications if necessary.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
