What Does A Painless Small Bump On Upper Lip Indicate?
Question: I have a painless small bump on the outside of my upper lip. Its been there for 2 weeks and seems to be a little bigger than when it first appeared. It doesn't bleed but feels soft and squishy. Do I need to see someone? What could this be?

Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
I can understand your apprehension regarding the skin lesion around upper lip.
From your description it seems you may have Fordyce spot, an enlarged sebaceous gland but its difficult to say anything specific in absence of clinical examination.
Therefore for better understanding I would request you to post some clinical pictures. You can mail pictures to YYYY@YYYY with subject titled 'Attn: Dr Hardik Pitroda'.
Thank you
