Brief Answer:
It is blood spreading along the planes in skin.

Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr.Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
In my opinion ,you had bleeding in skin and other soft tissues which is spreading now as per the gravity.
If there is no pain and movements are normal, no treatment is required. It will change color over a period of time and then disappear.
If it becomes painful, or the arm movements are hampered then get an x ray and consult your orthopedic surgeon.
