Posted on Thu, 2 Mar 2017
Question: Hello, My pulse has been around 120 beats per minute for the last 6 months. My blood pressure has been around the 120/75 range. This month my pulse has averaged around 95 beats per minute and my blood pressure is in the upper 120's and diastole has averaged around 90. I'm 5'11" and 170 lbs, age 41. Nothing has changed in my diet. Should I be worried?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

First of all there's no need to panic, your BP and HR are just at the upper limits of the norm.

However since this may be followed by a gradual increase in BP and HR in the near future I would like to recommend to do the following examinations:
- Blood work
- ECG
- Cardiac echo
- Abdominal ultrasound
- BP monitoring

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
