What Does A Rash With Flaky Dead Skin On Scalp Indicate?
Seborrhea
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your medical problem.
From your description of the skin rash I would guess that you have seborrhea. This is a chronic condition with episodes of clearing and then episodes of flairs. Times of stress can make the lesions were worse. The areas that are affected is your scalp and behind the ears and also in folds of skin under breasts or on the chest.
The usual treatment for scalp lesions is to use coal tar shampoos like t-gel. Other treatments for more severe cases will improve with topical steroid lotions. Even going outside and exercising seems to help improve lesions.
I hope I answered your questions. If you could take pictures of the lesions this may help me better diagnose your skin condition.
