What Does A Red Spot In The Upper Thigh After Protected Sex Suggest?
Question: Concerned - protected sexual encounter 17 days ago. Red spot has appeared on upper thigh for approximately 15 hours now. Does not burn or itch, no blisters. Attached picture.
Brief Answer:
Old stretch marks; unrelated to recent sexual contact
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query and i have also reviewed the image.
These are stretch marks &they seem quite old. They are white and atrophic.
I dont think they are in anyway related to your recent sexual encounter.
They must have been there before & probably you never noticed them before.
Regards

Thank you, I have had stretch marks in my thighs for many many years. My concern is the darker prominent red mark (in stretch mark), I attached another picture. Thanks for your help!
Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I have reviewed the Image.
This is nothing to be concerned about. Probably a folliculitis i.e inflammation of hair follicle. Nothing else.
You may use an OTC topical antibacterial e.g 2% mupirocin ointment twice daily.
Regards
