Question : Over night a small round smooth, ball shaped, formed in my armpit tender to touch.

Considering your description this is axillar abscess which is localized supurative infection of sweat glands in armpit. At this point you should put cold compresses and take nonsteroid painkillers and antibiotic. If there is rapid growth then it should be surgically drained by incision. Wish you good health. Regards
