What Does A Small Lump On Knee Of An Infant Indicate?

Question: Hi, my 11 month old seems to have a small lump that moves just below his left knee and to the left. It's about half the size of my pinky nail and can only be felt when he bends his knee. He's walking and crawling on a hardwood floor and he doesn't seem to be in any pain. Can this just be a bump due to an accident or something else?

Hi
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. Keeping in mind the age and beginning of crawling it could well be the bump or a knot of healthy fatty tissue.
Nothing need to be done and it will heal of it's own.Just keep an eye.
Hope this helps.
Take care
