What Does A Thin Bladder Wall Indicate?

Question: I successfully underwent a TURP 7 weeks ago. The presurgery video probe revealed. a thin
bladder wall. The bladder is twice the normal style. Can anything be done?

Hello
Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been operated for TURP for Enlarged Prostate.

Thin walled bladder suggests that you do not have obstructive changes in bladder due to enlarged prostate and basically TURP might have been done for large residual urine volume due to median lobe enlargement and causing repeated episodes of UTI.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Can you post report of your Ultrasound scanning
2) What was the residual urine volume reported on Ultrasound Scanning.?

Thin walled bladder has no significance at all and does not need any treatment .
