Question: Sir, I am a male of age 33. I found to see a tumour like growth near my thigh gap(about 1 cm in diameter). I self examined it and I found it below the skin. It is not attached to any flesh or bone(as far as I examined by my hand). I pressed it hard and some blood came out and it's size reduced. But still it is there. I again pressed it after 24 hours and some more blood came out. Sir I am much afraid. What is it ? Is it XXXXXXX or cancerous ? Is there any chance that it may be turned into cancerous in future ?

Brief Answer: It is not cancerous Detailed Answer: I have read your history and I can assure you that it is not cancer. Most probably it is a bacterial infection. It can be a collection of blood also. If you have evacuated the blood, now you just need to take antibiotics for five days. That will be enough. Let me know if you want to ask any thing else. Thanks and take care.

sir, although I evacuated the blood but still the swelling is there(it's size has been reduced). If it does not go away then should I leave it as it is ? Or I should go for a surgery ? If it is not any XXXXXXX thing then I don't prefer surgery. Is there any problem to leave the swelling for life time ?

Brief Answer: You can leave it. Detailed Answer: Hello. If it is there after blood evacuated, you should take antibiotics for any infection. Antibiotics will cause reductions in swelling. If some amount of swelling remain then no need to worry or plan for surgery. Keep an eye on size of swelling. If increases then you can contact with surgeon. Feel free to ask any other questions. Thanks and take care.
