What Does A White Itchy Rash In Groin Area Indicate?
Question: Hi,
I am confused whether I have got a STD or it's just a Jock Itch. I recently had protected sex with a girl. After 2 days some white itchy rash has appeared in my groin and scrotum area. I am confused whether this is some of STD or something like a Jock Itch. I have a history of contact dermatitis from soap use. And after having sex, I cleaned my groin area 4-5 times with soap.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
I saw the pictures sent by you. It is neither seems to be a STD nor a jock Itch. You had a protected sex. That is a wiser thing and the possibility of STD/HIV are remote.
The picture shows two possibilities:
1. Intertrigo --- It is type of dermatitis due to maceration due to sweating or some irritation
2. You are already having allergy to soap and you washed your genitals and groin repeatedly with Soap.
You consult a Dermatologist, he/she will cure your problem within a weeks time. Nothing serious.
