What Does A Yellow Patch On The Bicep Indicate?

default
Posted on Thu, 22 Jun 2017
Question: I noticed a yellow area no my outside bicep. I have it now on both biceps, the one on my left arm I noticed today the other I noticed a week ago. I check the rest of my body and noticed behind my left leg just below my calf and an area of about a hand size some faint yellowing also. I do not think I have injured myself, so I am wondering what is this caused by. It appears like the last stage of a bruise, when you only see yellow.

Brief Answer:
Can be due to skin changes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The yellowish area without any injury can be due to skin changes in the area. Thickening of the skin or blood circulation changes can cause such a change. if there is no pain in normal activities or running then there is no need to worry.
I hope this answers your query.
