What Does An Ultrasound Showing Borderline Spleen Size Indicate?
I tried uploading the report but it didn't work so I'll try to put the details here:
Weight: 64 kgs
Height: 5 feet 6 inches
BP: 154/84 (I think this could be due to anxiety and the rush associated with so many people being tested in one room)
Heart Rate: 104 bpm
Cholestrol total: 170
Triglycerides: 177 (Alert)
Direct LDL cholestrol: 102 (alert)
HDL: 46
Glucose: 92
Glucose PP: 79 (alert)
Lymphocyte: 47.1 (alert)
MCHC: 31.4 (alert)
RDW: 15.8 (alert)
All other values are normal so I haven't mentioned here.
Rather than tests, you need a doctor to clinically correlate your condition
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through the details as well as the reports. The first thing to note is your blood pressure. It is quite high. The measurement needs to be repeated on two other different occasions and if the upper BP (systolic pressure) remains above 140, it needs to be brought under control and you need to take medications for the same. The borderline splenomegaly is expected to be secondary to something. Your high BP could have an association but careful clinical correlation is required and you need to visit a doctor, preferably and get other possible causes evaluated. Consulting an hematologist might be more suitable in this context.

Hope that helps.
