As per your complain yellow coating over tongue is generally not a sign of something serious..

It is commonly due to accumulation of debris and dead cells over the tongue papillae leading to appearance of a yellow coating..

I would like to know a few more details so that I can guide you better..
1.Since have long is the coating present?
2.Have to done any attempts to remove it?
3.Is there any soreness over the tongue also present along with coating?

If possible send an image of your tongue to show the coating..
