Question : What does black stool mean?will the complete stool be black? I see small pieces of black stool along with brown stool

Hello

Black stool could be a normal variation. But sometimes it could also be due to internal bleeding.
I would suggest that you get a stool test for occult blood done. In case the test is negative then you shouldn't worry about the black color.
In case, it is positive then you need to visit your doctor to investigate the cause of the bleed.
