Causes of Hematuria

Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic

Here is a list of possible causes of hematuria (blood in urine).
-Urinary tract infection (but usually UTI only causes microscopic hematuria)
-Kidney/ureteric stones
-Kidney/bladder tumors
-Infection of kidneys(pyelonephritis)
-Glomerulonephritis
-Medications like aspirin, warfarin

Urine analysis, culture, complete blood count, abdominal Xray and abdominal USG (depending on other results) are warranted for evaluation of hematuria.
