What Does Brown Spotting When On Junel Fe Indicate?
Mostly due to side effects of OCP
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand your concern.
In my opinion oral contraceptive pills (OCP) have side effects like irregular periods like irregular spotting, excess or scanty bleeding.
So you need not worry. Mostly it is a side effect of OCP.
But one more possibility I would like to give you.
Brown spotting might also be seen in cervicitis.
Cervicitis is a kind of cervical inflammation most probably due to infection.
Cervicitis presents with excess mucus discharge and admixed with blood sometimes. So then it presents as brown discharge.
If it happened to see a similar case in my office I would like to do a per speculum examination to see for any cervical infection and Pap smear.
If it persist then kindly see you’re treating doctor for further analysis of condition.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to ask any more queries.

Unprotected sex is followed by period so there is no chance for pregnancy.

withdrawal bleeding during brown pill can be considered as normal phenomenon when on OCP.
but because of pill the flow quantity might alter a bit.it could be very scanty mostly.
Brown discharge might be due to cervicities which needs examination and appropriate medication.
relax this is quite common problem in child bearing age group.
