What Does Brown Vaginal Discharge After Taking Birth Control Pills Indicate?
Explanation is given below...
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query to Healthcare magic.
I have read your question carefully and understand your health concern.
Sometimes, during the middle of a woman's menstrual cycle, when she is ovulating, she may have some bleeding that is lighter than menstrual flow lasting for one to two days.(ovulation can occur two weeks after you have switched off from birth control pill.)
It may be due to the egg rupturing through the follicle during ovulation or a result of the elevated level of estrogen during the process of an egg maturing that the uterus sheds a bit of lining so bleeding occurs.
However, ovulation bleeding should not be confused with implantation bleeding, which typically takes place about a week after you ovulate and is an early pregnancy sign.
Switch off from oral contraceptive pills can cause hormonal imbalance leading to irregular periods.
All of these variations are basically normal.
But if brown discharge will continue for more than 10 days than you should contact with your gynecologist to determine the reason of vaginal bleeding.
Meanwhile you are trying to conceive try to take folic acid 400 micro gram per day ,exercise daily ,have a rich diet with fruits and vegetables and more important is to be calm.
Hope I was helpful and please feel free for further discussion.
Best regards
