What Does Bruising Around A Mole Indicate?
Question: I have a mole on my inner right arm. Just like 1 or 2 days ago I noticed some bruising around it. It doesn't hurt or anything but I'm scared it might be skin cancer? I'm 18, female and in college. I am really fair/pale skinned.
Brief Answer:
Not cancer!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your fears. I have reviewed your information fully and the attached images and this is in no way suggestive of cancer. Cancers resulting from moles develop over a long time and that in no way matches sudden bruise you have reported/noticed.
Be calm and relaxed. This is not cancer. Keep monitoring only for now and feel free to update me with more images after a week for more insights and guidance.

Hi doctor! Thanks for the response. I was really worried because everything on Google was related to melanoma. Do you think I should check with the University doctor just to be sure? Sorry if I'm being over dramatic, but I like to stay healthy :)
Brief Answer:
NO!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Give it a week and return to me with another image. If i am not satisfied with the recovery or any other thing, I will then recommend whether you see a doctor for further evaluation or not. From the current findings, there is no need getting bothered by this.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further worries about this.
