What Does Bruising Around The Mole On Arm Suggest?

default
Posted on Fri, 29 Jul 2016
Question: The other day I noticed a perfectly symmetrical light colored bruise around a freckle/mole on my arm. I don't remember hitting it on anything and it didn't get dark like most of my bruises. It is not sore and my freckle/mole looks the same as it always has that I can remember. Do you know if this is dangerous? Have you seen or heard of this before?

Brief Answer:
It is not dangerous!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these changes around the mole and all the inconveniences this has caused you. I understand your fears and more so as it is commonly said that changes may be suggestive of cancer. The good news is that I have reviewed the attached mail and certainly there is nothing which raises the suspicion of a possible cancer here. I will recommend that you keep observing the mole and report any future changes to us/your doctor but there is no need to seek for any further medical care at this time with respect to this change reported/observed.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask of more information and clarifications if need be.

So, you were able to see the picture of the mole? Or did you mean something else when you said "attached mail?" Please let me know. It looked like it wouldn't attach Thanks! .

Brief Answer:
I saw the picture!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I saw the picture. It should have read attached image. It is a picture of your right arm with the mole visible on the upper external border. I maintain the above response and mark it correct.

I wish you well.
