Question: Need a post event differential. I have chronic chest pains for a variety of reasons. Have had two heart attacks (2002, 2011) with four stents. For about eights weeks, I had a steady localized pain behind the chest wall, right side about 4 inches from the sternum. It was a dull level three or so pain. Maybe along with it was gas, feeling of fullness and chest pressure and some night time reflux. Especially worse just after eating. Sometimes helped by position change. All this while, daily treadmill sessions with no problems. Don't have a gall bladder (2014). Last Saturday, I was sitting watching TV when I had a level 10 pain for a few seconds, then a pause and another debilitating pain about 4 inches to the right and 4 inches lower from the localized pain. My amateur differential was that i passed something. My primary has said that even though the gall bladder is gone, there is still a duct that could form stones. After two days of soreness in that area, I'm on my third days of no chest pains, which is rare for me. So my question for you, what is your opinion of what happened. Aside from passing a gall stone, could it have been anything else? No hurry on this one. Thanks
