Brief Answer:
detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I read carefully your query.

There are many possible causes for coughing up blood. It can be due to forceful and frequent coughing, lung infections ,blood clot in lungs ,bronchitis etc.
If blood was mixed with sputum and had bubbles ,most likely it came from lungs.
In order to evaluate the significance of it ,it is very important to know if you have other symptoms like cough, fever, chest pain ,difficulty breathing, weight loss etc.
If you have any of the above symptoms and this has going on for a while ,you need to consult your doctor and get examined.

If you don't have any symptom and this was the first time that you had this ,you can wait and see if this will happen again.

Hope it helps.
Please feel free to ask for every question you might have.

Kind regards,
