What Does Decreasing Level Of HCG Indicate?

Question: Im taking ovacare myo &metformin 500mg tablets for the last 2 months.my last menstration was on mar15.normaly im hvng irregular periods.from mar20th onwards im hvng bleeding particularly spotting.last 1week im sufering stomach and lower stomach pain.on 16th we consulted a doctr.done urine test.but result was negative.but doctr hve some confusion.then we undergone beta hcg test.result is 229mlU/mL.done us abdomen scan.result is bulky left ovary with two cysts.henorrhage tortion of these cysts cannot beruled out sonologically.then we done beta hcg test on today.its only 180ml today.what s the reason for decresing hcg level.am i pregnant or not.i didnt not take ovacare and metformin for two days.wheter these medicines will affect beta hcg test?wat s the reason for spotting?

You are definitely pregnant with serum beta hCG blood test being so high.

This appears to be abortion or non viable pregnancy.

Please get ultrasound with colour doppler to ruleout ectopic pregnancy or torsion. Please visit top ultrasound scan centre in your town.
