Question: My query to DR.VPYK XXXXXXX ONLY. Mam my mother is a case of systemic sclerosis since 6years on medication at cmc vellore.These days she is complaining of difficulty in swallowing and breathlessness.Please help.

Hi Mam,

I understand your query and concern.

Systemic sclerosis is a multi system disorder which may even cause oesophageal dysmotility.

I advise you to get chest x ray , ABG analysis to look for disease course.

So I advise your mother to get Upper GI Endoscopy by consulting gastro- enterologist.

Meanwhile I advise her to take Tab.Pantop 40mg and Tab.Domperidone once daily before break fast.

Note:These drugs should be taken under strict prescription of your doctor.
