Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have taken note of your query and I have also reviewed the Image.
I can see red, raised, dry patch of skin on the upper surface of penis.
I suggest a possibility of either Seborrheic dermatitis, Psoriasis Or Lichen planus.
I would like to know more from you regarding your concern.
-Is it itchy?
-Do you have itchy lesions elsewhere on body? like scalp? arms? shins?

Dr,
First, Thank you for your time. Second, i appologize for the delay and late message, i am currently on guam time. There has not been any itching associated with this area or any others you mentioned but i have had some itching and minor bumps which come and go on my right ring finger next to the middle finger. I will attach additonal pics of both for clarity. Again any advice and help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I have reviewed both the Images of dry, scaly patch on penis though i did not receive Image of finger.
I would suggest a possibility of either Psoriasis Or Lichen planus. These are types of skin eczema.
This type of skin affection would require application of a mid-potent topical steroid e.g Mometasone furoate 0.1 % cream Or fluticasone propionate 0.05% cream
These are prescription steroids and I would suggest that you talk to your doctor for the needful.
You may apply either of these, twice daily for 2 weeks and then review.
Regards

Thank you, so far i have tried cortizone for exzema, lotrimin jock itch, clindamycin, and traimcinclone acetonid (but minor use due to fear of thinning skin). Do you recomend any of these things for use?? Or any of these for repeated/scheduled use?also..Is there any associated std/sti that could present as such with no symptoms?
Brief Answer:
Mid potent topical steroid like triamcinolone acetonide would be fine
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Triamcinolone acetonide is a mid potent topical steroid and should work fine. It is absolutely safe to use on genital skin for 2- 4 weeks.
Cortizone cream / Hydrocortisone would be too mild to have any noticeable effect.
No, this is not an STD.
