What Does Elevated CEA Mean While Recovering From Pancreatic Surgery?

Question: I am recovering from pancreatic surgery. My operation was Jan31st. I just had lab work done and my CA19-9 was 10 and my CEA (S) was 4.8, which is a little high. What does the elevated CEA mean?

My wife has had a lot of pain in her upper back and neck for several months now. No abdominal pain. Since I had pancreatic cancer, is there a possibility her pain is pancreas related?
