Brief Answer:
Please get general health check done for weakenss

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
As your tests have always been negative and the unprotected sex happened in 2007, there is no reason to worry for HIV infection. In most cases HIV becomes positive after 6 months and almost all HIV infected patients have at least one positive report after 12 months.

Since your results have always been negative, there is no need to worry for HIV infection. The cause for your symptoms can include stress related anxiety or any medical condition causing generalized weakness. HIV is unlikely in you.

Please relax and consult a specialist in internal medicine and get a general health check done. Avoid mental stress and it is confirmed that you do not have HIV infection.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek

Brief Answer:
You can do HIV test again by western blot or fourth generation rapid test

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

If your earlier tests have been negative then still you can take another test for peace of mind.

There are many tests available like the fourth generation rapid HIV test or the western blot.
