Brief Answer: Please find detailed answer below Detailed Answer: Hi XXXX, Thanks for writing in to us. Your present X ray shows changes expected in TB involving the light lung lower zone. This can be present for months to years after initial diagnosis of TB and also after treatment is complete in many patients. It is important to know the activity of disease in your situation. For this your X ray findings must be compared with an X ray taken 5 months back. If there is increase in the opacities then it may signify active infection. In X ray, if there is no progressive change in the images taken 6 months apart then we can say that the disease is stable and under control. Hope your query is answered. Do write back if you have any doubts. Regards, Dr.Vivek
